Anna Grear

Artist Anna Grear

Anna's work is inspired by a combination of her former time as a physical performance artist exploring improvisational mime and dance work and by her love of New Materialist philosophy.

She loves the sense of 'play' between the paint, the canvas, the brushes and other tools, and the artist, as partners in the emergence of a painting.

Anna loves to respond to the 'nudges' provided by the paints, the canvas and the tools themselves as material components of working.

Her love of colour earned her the tag #ColourWitch in 2016 and it stuck!

Judy Graham Carter

Judy uses many techniques and mediums in her work. Her portfolio is comprehensive, from mono prints to complicated colour saturated mixed media images. Some are made using traditional methods, others are computer generated digital altered images.

From the mixed media with collage in ‘Wiltshire Landscapes’, to the abstract ‘Magic Tree’ series and the collection of magical ‘Esoteric’ digital images, all the work has hidden depth that the artist hopes will connect with the viewer.

Lucinda Coldrey Fine Art

"When you buy from an independent artist, you are buying more than a painting, a novel or a song. You are buying hundreds of hours of experimentation and thousands of failures, you are buying days, weeks, months, years of frustration and pure joy. You are buying nights of worry about paying the bills, having enough money to eat, feed the children, birds, the dog. You are not buying a thing, you are buying a piece of heart, part of a soul, a private moment in someone's life. Most importantly you are buying the artist more time to do something they are truly passionate about; something that makes all of the above worth the fear and the doubt; something that puts life into the living". Rebecca Gouldson Metal Wall Art

I create elegant bespoke metal wall pieces for private, corporate and public spaces.

The beautifully finished, rich metallic and enamel surfaces are created in response to diverse subject matter, including architecture, the rural landscape, and maps.

Working closely with my clients, each response to a commission brief involves taking photographs, and making drawings, prints and collages on paper. This imagery is combined, manipulated and then etched in to metal, or applied to enamel. Layers of processes, including electroplating and chemical patination, are used in innovative sequences, to create unique artworks.

Mary Corum - Visual Artist

Mary Corum - Visual Artist

Each piece starts with an idea, whether it is an observation of The Suspension Bridge or the fine detail patterns in a Mallard duck. I then draw the image using the very finest Rotring (technical drawing pen). I love to focus on fine lines, shape and pattern. With the completed Illustration I then transfer the image onto fabric, using specialist print materials. The printed design on fabric is then mounted and presented several ways, stretched over a plaque, appliquéd onto a backing of my screen printed fabric or placed into a frame or tray.
