Abstracts by Norman Pirollo
Award winning artist Norman Pirollo discovered a passion for creativity at an early age. Having pursued a career in the IT industry after studying Computer Science, he has since returned to his passion of creating unique abstract art.
He is primarily self-taught in both the fine arts and decorative arts. Norman creates abstract art through macro photography He accomplishes this through a process he developed to create abstract compositions. The compositions are meticulously painted to depict an abstract scene and include important elements such as form, contrasting colors, light and curves. Rich vivid colors, curves and intriguing compositions are featured in this abstract work.
The artwork is then photographed at high resolution and transferred to quality art papers or canvas. Norman has exhibited his art at many art venues in the past few years, both local and international, and his work has been featured in various international magazines.
As well, he has recently been selected as a finalist for the prestigious NICHE Awards and a finalist for the Art Trends Artist of the Year Award. Norman currently resides and operates his studio in a country setting in Ottawa, Ontario.
